Pinback - Loro 7"

Pinback is a collaboration between Rob Crow (singer/guitarist from Heavy Vegetable, Optiganally Yours, Thingy) and ABS4 (bass player for Three Mile Pilot), and sounds exactly like a combination of Three Mile Pilot and Rob's quirky songwriting. They are the absolute best downbeat pop band around. And while the two singers singing at the same time might seem a little formulaic after having done it on every one of their songs, I love it. I can't get enough of the Pinback full length, and the B side of the 7" would have easily fit onto the album without sticking out. "Loro" is the same version as appears on the album. I can't wait to get my hands on the import CD version of this single because it has another B side.
