This collaboration between Hal Rammel, Jon Mueller, and Chris Rosenau
acts as one of the most interesting improvised music records of the
past year or so. Using a single-string guitar with a mini-disc of
prepared sounds, Rammel works around Mueller's clattering drums with
agile grace. Rosenau plays a fully-strung guitar that attains incredible
beauty in "Marapaches Bandidos." This track best incorporates Rammel's
musique concrete recordings, achieving a stunning soundscape of early
morning atmosphere.
