It's not just what you say, it's also how you say it. Meaning that sharply
written, angry British mod rock tunes do not translate well into the
American Northwestern, post-grunge Sub Pop vernacular. This compilation
features many good songs played
badly by a mixed bag of groups who only have a general sense of what they
are saying. The comp gets points, however, for not including versions of
"You Really Got Me" or "All Day and All of the Night."
