Astorria - Length of Common Rafters 7"
This Houston, Texas duo create two-guitar-ambience along the lines of Labradford or Windsor for the Derby. The A side, "Length of Common Rafters" has two sparse and mellow guitar parts with a somewhat buried programmed rhythm that resembles more of a mechanical sound that any sort of drum. The B side, "Add 0 to 9," is a bit faster paced with a more discernible drum sound. This is a very promising single, and I'll anxiously await a full length.
