Welcome to fakejazz.com's second big issue. In this issue,
we have two new interviews, one with the outstanding drone & dreamscape
duo Windy and Carl
and one with Daniel
Burton who used to be in Ativin and is currently in the
great new band Early Day Miners whose music explores the Southwest with its
dark and dusky soundscapes. I didn't think it was possible, but we have
even more reviews in this
issue than we did in our launch issue, 24 at final count.
If you missed our launch
issue, you may want to review our
rating system,
as it is a little awkward. Also, be sure to check out the short interview
we did with Brian
Fraser of Brian & Chris, a great band that we shouldn't let slip through
the cracks of indie glut with its unobtrusive name.
Bands, labels, zines, and other fakebusinesses, we are willing to give you ad space on our site for little more than a peck on the cheek or a hearty handshake. If you are willing to send us the change from your couch, we will put your ad on our site. Email us for exact, incredibly cheap introductory rates and other details. Space is limited.
If you like our site or have any comments, drop us a line or leave a note on our message board. We heart feedback.
Thanks for visiting our site.
