Movies CRY_WOLF (Jeff Wadlow, 2005) website

CRY_WOLF.jpgLets start off with the bad, since really, there is only one negative comment I could even make about CRY_WOLF: Robin Dunne isn’t in it. You might remember Robin from Skulls II, Au Pair II, Cruel Intentions II, American Psycho II, or Species III. However, you sadly wont be seeing him in CRY_WOLF.

CRY_WOLF_2?You might be asking yourself "Why is Lindy Booth so much better than Robin Dunne?" And, honestly, I don't really have an answer for you. Just like you, I remember all the great straight-to-video movies that Lindy and Robin have been in together; like when Lindy played Kelly in Skulls II, or when she played Cassandra Blaire in American Psycho II, or even when she played Katie in Teenage Space Vampires [II?]. Was she totally awesome in these movies? You better believe that shit! But, was she so totally more awesomely in your face better than Robin that she should go on to co-headline in a film that actually played in theaters and that isn’t even an actual sequel without him? I mean, seriously!

But don’t worry, while I whole heartedly agree with you that Robin totally got the shaft in this situation, CRY_WOLF still easily holds up even without him, thanks to Lindy. In CRY_WOLF, Lindy plays Dodger, the leader of a small pack of popular highschool students who love to play a gossip game called “Wolf” within their group. Dodger decides to take "Wolf" to the next level, extending the game to the full studentbody without letting them know that it is only a game - tying it in with a recent student’s murder in the woods. Soon, the lies spread out of control and start to become reality.

Honestly, and I mean this as the biggest possible compliment, CRY_WOLF is basically just like that awesome movie Gossip, but staring Bon Jovi instead of whoever it was that played Bon Jovi's role in Gossip.

Okay, I haven't seen this movie yet. So I have some questions. First, does this movie have anything to do about wolves or shape shifting into any other sort of fierce, maneating animals, like say rhinos? I assumed from the title that it was about shape shifting, but then the promos concentrate more on the instant messaging aspect of the movie. Second, Dean isn't the wolf is he? He is too hott to be the killer. I think I would die... and boycott seeing the movie.

Well, I think you are thinking of that new movie coming out call Wolf Lake the Movie or something. I am not certain if it is about the TV show or something else. One thing that IS for sure though, is that CRY_WOLF is more about kicking ass and taking names, and having other people afraid of that list of names you took. It is more about societies, and how the classes are seperated, and how they interact within the structure of the educational system. And, it is more about Bon Jovi.
