I had kind of been ignoring "Rory's Naked Boy" (also known as Marty) ever since he put his clothes back on, so it was kind of a disappointment that so much of this episode was devoted to resolving Marty's crush. His appearance wasn't a total loss though, as it gave a few opportunities to mock Paris, but ultimately it made the episode feel like it was stalling for time, giving the viewer some time to breath before the fireworks. (But don't they know it's sweeps?!) In Lorelai and Luke town, Lorelai got more upset with Luke - mad that he passive aggressively moved his boat out of her garage - while Luke seemed to get less upset with Lorelai - agreeing to build the sets for the elementary school's production of "Fiddler on the Roof" in hopes of seeing Lorelai there. This uneventful episode gave Kirk (Sean Gunn) another chance to be the episode highlight, starring as Tevye beside the kids in "Fiddler." The way Luke and Lorelai looked at each other as Kirk asked the 8 year old girl "Do You Love Me?," you know they will be back together soon!
